That a letter to the Solicitor General be drafted indicating that it is the position of Council that Orangeville retain an autonomous Police Service Board; And that the province discontinue provincial appointments to OPP detachment boards; And that the respective municipal council be given authority to appoint any required citizen representation to its Police Service Board; And that a draft letter regarding Council's position on the composition of the OPP detachment boards be brought back to Council on June 7, 2021 for endorsement.
